Description:

A seven-day street level mission’s trip that will expose participants to community development and the urban poor. This experience will equip your youth group, college group, deacons or church leadership with a vision for racial reconciliation, ministry to the poor and urban church planning in the heart of Denver’s inner city. The week will be filled with spiritual formation, work projects in needy communities, Bible club ministry in low income housing communities and a poverty simulation that will transform your view of homelessness. Prepare for life change through urban ministry in the Mile High City.

Details:

Homeless Ministry/Community Development. Groups ranging in size from 5 to 50 people.

Primarily summer dates are preferred. Trip schedule requires Monday arrival and Monday departure. Limited availability throughout winter. Subject to approval.

Teams can drive directly to Denver or fly in to Denver. Van rental is not required for most teams as public transportation is available in the city.

You’ll stay right in Denver at a facility designed to house volunteer teams. Meals will be prepared for you by the ministry staff. A few meals will be eaten out at restaurants as well. All meals are included in the cost.
